Moving Regulations - Papua New Guinea

If you plan to move to Papua New Guinea, first of all you have to apply for entry permit. All applicants must:
• complete and sign the correct application form;
• attach 1 passport size photo;
• provide any other documentary information as requested;
• send application to the Papua New Guinea High Commission in Canberra together with your valid passport;
• pay the required fee.

Passports of the applicants must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of your entry to the country.

In accordance with Migration Regulation, the holder of an entry permit must enter Papua New Guinea within six months of the Entry Permit being issued. Applications for extension of stay must be lodged well in advance of the expiry of the current entry permit. Extensions are only issued to people currently in PNG. It cannot be granted while a person is outside the country.
