Moving Regulations - Bahamas
In order to move to Bahamas from Australia first of all you need a visa. The most long term visa is Business visa.

For obtaining the visa it is necessary to have the following documents:
• Passport. It must have at least 6 months remaining validity from the day of entry into Bahamas. 
• 1 visa application form. It must be fully completed and signed.
• 2 passport-type photos.
• Letter of invitation from your company in the Bahamas you are doing business with. It has to specify that the company takes financial responsibility for you during your living in the Bahamas.

It is recommended to be present during customs examination. Remember that except used personal belongings (clothing and toilet articles) all items are subject duty. Duty may be paid on an assessed value at the Customs Officer's discretion. Antiques only with a certificate of authenticity from an authorized dealer or expert may be transported.
