If you are going to relocate to Argentina from Australia, you must know what documents are required for this. Moreover, you should pay attention to customs regulations when relocating your household goods and personal belongings.

You should have the following documents:
• inventory in Spanish;
• a Permanent Entry Visa stamped on the passport by immigration authorities at airport of entry anda valid passport with Resident Visa (minimum period of one year) issued in your country;

If you don’t have it, you may import used household goods and personal effects on a temporary basis.

All items must have been in possession of the shipper for at least one year. The items less than six months old are subject to high duties and cause delays in customs clearance. These and other regulations may differ according to your immigration status. In the case if your baggage contains ammunition or weapons, you need special allowance from the local authorities.
